The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering has well qualified and experienced faculty with excellent infrastructural facilities. The department offers UG program with an intake of 60 students per year. The department is proud of their achievements.
The department provides laboratories with all the necessary equipment required for the students as per the academic agenda. This allows students to gain practical knowledge in areas like Analog communication, Electronic circuit analysis, Linear IC applications, Internet of Things and other courses involved in curriculum.
This department is playing a vital and pivotal role in research in the areas of VLSI design Communication, Signal Processing, Image Processing, Embedded Systems, Antennas and wave propagation. The faculty members are having many research papers in peer reviewed reputed national and international journals and conferences to their credit. The department is having strong backup of qualified supporting staff to support the laboratory work.
The department receives funds from various agencies such as AICTE, DST for Seminar Grant, FDP, MODROBS, STTP, etc. Faculty members are acting as Supervisors for Ph.D. Programs of various universities. Faculty members are also reviewers for many international journals.
HOD’s Profile:
Dr. A.Gangadhar completed Ph.D. in VLSI-System Design from JNTU, Kakinada. Currently working as Associate Professor and Head of department of Electronics & Communication Engineering in University College of Engineering, Narasaraopet. He has more than 18 years’ experience in the teaching field, guided many students in their projects and worked in esteemed organizations. He has published papers in reputed journals. He is the Convener of IETE and Coordinator for AICTE.
